When soaked in bleach, the emulsion of processed 35mm washes off in layers of color: cyan, yellow and magenta, each momentarily vivid before dissolving.

This short film was shot off the coast of Maine on the island of Islesboro and captures some of the impact of environmental damage on aspects of everyday life.
